Gray Moon Breakfast and Brunch

We went with a group of friends. This is a family owned restaurant. The food is DELICIOUS, true southern food with great portions. The fried chicken and fried pickles were exceptionally tasty. This is great comfort food and all food is fresh/made to order. Wait times were a little bit longer than other restaurants but the food is fantastic so well worth the wait. I feel that staff is still ironing out details and some waitress’s are still learning the menu, but overall we will be coming back. The inside has tons of seating and is clean. Nothing fancy on the inside, but peaceful. Give them a shot!

Excellent!!! Beautiful space, delicious food. I ordered the turkey wing with rice & gravy, collards & cabbage. My food came out quickly and was steaming hot. Perfect! So delicious that I ordered a second plate to go. Please give them a try--I don't think you'll regret it one BITE!

Food and service are amazing! I had the red velvet chicken and waffles. This meal comes with 2 pieces of chicken wings and red velvet waffle with cream on the side (don’t mind the picture I was dropping that cream on the pancakes and it’s a still from the video). I used that and you truly don’t need syrup. I had creamy grits as my side. The dessert is strawberry cheesecake. Family had the dinner menu that comes with 3 pieces of chicken wings and 2 sides. All the food was delicious, chicken and pork chop fried golden brown. 10/10 would highly recommend!!! Depending on drinks and sides you could spend avg15 per person. They don’t have bar set up just yet it looks like, so that number could fluctuate depending on drink prices etc. Seems like it should be coming soon! Chef and our server were amazing.

We stumbled across Gray Moon while visiting Greenville, SC this weekend. All the staff were amazing, especially our waitress KT. They start us out with the best biscuits I have ever had in a restaurant, drizzled with honey. I ordered Chicken and Waffles, my friend ordered chicken tenders, fries, and fried okra. Everything we ate was delicious and the fried food was not greasy. When we requested Honey Mustard for our chicken, the chef made a fresh batch just for us. We felt so well cared for and left with a very full stomach. Thank you to the whole team for making our whole weekend better.

Great food, no wait to be seated, great service. Give them a chance. New ownership 2years. Ambient lofi music, relaxing, peaceful and ability to talk and hear each other. Nice decor. bathroom needs updating.

First off, their biscuits are to freaking die for. On that note I desperately wish they had biscuits and gravy! They do however have the best dang chicken tenders and Mac and cheese. Our service was fast, friendly and attentive. I really liked the host who welcomed us. His smile and great energy were so wonderful!

I was in town for my middle daughter’s dance competition and my oldest daughter expressed her interest in trying out this spot for brunch yesterday. I believe it’s a family owned business which is #1 in my book. We were greeted when we came in and had a great server. It was her 4th day and she did very well. She was very attentive. I tried the salmon patties and the first bite took me back to Grandma Irma’s house in the country!! Amazing!!! I also enjoyed my shrimp and grits that tasted like it came straight from the Lowcountry!! Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. The place was spacious and not noisy but just right.
